May 11th (afternoon): Workshop at Barrow: Call changes

This is suited to those wishing to improve their understanding of ringing and/or calling Call Changes.  Tutor: James Blackburn.  Please let us know if you’re interested.  No set cost - donations  to the Society welcome.

26th April: ITTS Module 1 day course at ERRC  

Start the process of becoming accredited with the Association of Ringing Teachers.  Open to those completely new to teaching ringing and those with more experience.  For more information follow the ART link at the bottom of the page. For any specific queries, contact Simon  Plows (local organiser) or Heather Peachey (course tutor).  Cost: £15 ART fee plus any local charge.

Date TBA: Developing Listening Skills - workshop at ERRC

Suitable for all, from beginners to ringing teachers.   Cost tba

There is immense pleasure and satisfaction to be had in taking part in well struck ringing when all the band are working in harmony with a good rhythm.    Come and learn some ways in which the ability to identify and accurately place a bell can be developed.

24th-31st May 2014 (half term): Ringing week in Kent

David Hibbert, our CCCBR rep will be attending his first Council meeting on the Bank Holiday Monday in Bearsted near Maidstone, accompanied by Barry Peachey who is the National Police Guild’s rep.   We are planning a week of ringing and fun to which all are welcome.  We will be camping/caravanning but of course others can choose B&B or whatever.   Please let us know asap if you may be interested in coming so we can add you to the mailing list.....
